Mr Bum Butter Talks To Amanda Holden Live On The Radio

Welcome to day 4 of the crazy media roller coaster that Bum Butter has become.

Today was another crazy day. I am somewhat wired as a very early start, and working very late, and not enough sleep, and a couple of pints of coffee…. and then I am on national radio, on Heart FM, with Amanda Holden!

How did that go?

Absolute ripper man. Nailed it.

Amanda mentioned she used it as lip balm… What a brilliant set up for the “don't double dip” line. It really could not of gone better. If I could have written a script for this, that is exactly what I would have written.

You can listen to the radio clip here… https://fb.watch/v7JBBRK7ng/

It was prerecorded so much of the vocabulary that is very normal in the world of Bum Butter, was edited out for breakfast radio.

How was business?

And on to my random business ramblings. The “Holden Peaks” are again evident in the web stats. The graph below shows the awesome sudden spike of website visitors. This mega publicity is brilliant, but we live in a very fast media world now. It is great and super welcome. But what I need is a new celebrity endorsement every week, but we all know that isn't going to happen.

And relax…

…what's this, the BBC on the phone?

And just when you think it's all over and I can maybe get some time on a bike…. I get a text from the BBC.

So, you know Paddy McGuiness. The chap from Phoenix Nights, Top Gear etc. He has a Radio show, on Radio 2, at 11am on a Sunday.

My mate Steve Dredge from the adventure charity StatusCode14, who rowed across the Atlantic for charity… he used Bum Butter on his squeaky rowlocks you know. (I just love saying that)

Anyway, Steve and I are head to head on a quiz on Paddy's radio show on Sunday, from 11am. Paddy is also cycling across Wales, England, and Scotland, for Children In Need… on a Raleigh Chopper. He is gonna need some Bum Butter.

Oh crikey…

Amanda has just put Bum Butter all over her Instagram stories, including my post “Product placement win: there is no better place to place your product than Amanda Holden's bum”.

It has gone 9pm. I have been up since 5am. The house has Bum Butter, jiffy bags, T-shirts, stickers etc everywhere. lots of orders to crack through…  And we have run out of wine.

These are all good problems to have… except the wine thing.

Hello!

Would Bum Butter be suitable for runners?

My brother heard you doing your thing with Amanda Holden & thought it might be good for my husband who is running the London Marathon next year!

Thanks!
